Cherries!

One of the hotel guests just brought me down a bowl of fresh cherries. They are ripe and juicy and taste great. Although I am still quite content from the salad and breadsticks I ate for diner I am going to eat all these cherries before I even notice.

One of the things that makes a job at a hotel better than most retail jobs is long term/ frequent guests. You can really get to know somebody who stays at the hotel as often as their own home, so much so that they'll buy you cheese cake (robin) or give you cherries (jean) or just make up for the cranky people that you have to deal with now and again
